The legend of Lake Sanabria says that Jesus Christ came disguised as a beggar, but no one in the village offered help except the bakery who gave him bread. Filled with old testament wrath, Christ dropped a lake on the village. You can hear the church bell ringing from under the water once a year, on the day of San Juan, if you stick your ear into the lake.
