Tracks 8 and 9 contain sounds created during a live session between A & A and Findo Gask (on broken toy wheel). "Whoosh" sound in track 4 based on a sample made from a live session between A & A and Toshiyuki Kobayashi. One "bzz, bzzzzz" sound in track 14 based on a sample made from a live session between A & A and Afri Studios. All sounds are severe reworkings from live sessions in La Rioja, Spain by A & A. Ruinas Encantadas was forged at the tail end of A & A´s "Folklore Volume One. La Rioja" project, with sounds, sentiments and structures of Riojan folk in their heads.
