Wall drawing/performance/video
The ‘score’ is a detourned version of a drawing from a punk rock
fanzine of 1976 which states;
This is a chord
This is another
This is a third... Now form a band
Flipping/mirroring the fingering of the chords of the original formed new
chord diagrams, chords which would render a sound more dissonant than the
orginal three. This new drawing became a score which was used for the basis
of a performance/film piece in a series of group shows that toured Germany
during 2005. In each of the exhibition’s four stations musicians were
contacted and invited to ‘play’ their response to the score
at a concert during the opening of the show.
